The Grants.gov Program Management Office (PMO) is pleased to announce the selection of our new information technology (IT) systems contractor. After much consideration, DMI, a leading IT solutions and business strategy consulting firm, has been selected as the new contractor.
On October 11, 2011, a system enhancement was deployed with no need for system down time. Two new functions are now available to better assist grantor agencies. First, functionality was added to the system that captures the actual date/time stamp of when rejection e-mail notifications are sent to the authorized organization representative (AOR) upon rejection of an application submission. Grantors can also obtain the name of the AOR that was sent the rejection e-mail. This information is available to grantors in the rejection report. Two fields in the rejection report were changed. The old field “Owner” was changed to “User ID” and the old field “Status Date” was changed to “Rejection/Email Date.” Second, the view all submitted applications report now has three new fields: “Legal Business Name,” “DUNS,” and “AOR Name.”
